Charcoal and Incense burning instructions:
Burn incense on charcoal tablets in a heatproof dish, censer or charcoal burner. To light, hold charcoal over a flame with a pair of tongs, tweezers or pliers. Allow the heat to spread across the surface. Place incense material on the charcoal. Pure resin material burns to a liquid. Place small amounts on the charcoal at a time to prevent the charcoal from extinguishing. Windows must be open to dispel any negativity and stale air. A bright aromatic atmosphere will remain.

Japanese Root Charcoal burns with a more gentle, refined smoke than the swift lite charcoal. The incense material is placed on and around the sides of the charcoal. Storage:To maintain freshness of charcoal, opened rolls and boxes should be re-sealed and stored in a cool, dry place.

Caution: Do not handle the charcoal when lighting or once lit. Incense charcoal continues to burn for up to two hours. Before discarding, please take care to extinguish thoroughly. Keep away from small children and pets.

Incense: For burning on incense charcoal, not for consumption.
